Stewart Fired Up!
Stewart Fired Up!

Marcus Stewart says the comments made by Birmingham players ahead of tonight's Worthington Cup semi-final second leg have got him well and truly fired up. The goal-mental striker seems determined to score at least one goal this evening.

Stewart said: "It has made me very angry, and if ever I wanted to score a goal it was tonight. Birmingham have been shouting their mouths off and we will be up for the task. If I can score once — hopefully it will be more — Birmingham must hit the net three times to beat us on aggregate. This is the biggest game of my career, equal in importance to last season’s play-off final against Barnsley at Wembley Stadium."

Stewart, clearly looking forward to the game continued: "If Birmingham think we will buckle under a physical challenge, they had better think again. All our team has played in the First Division, and we know what it is all about. What one or two Birmingham players have been saying in the papers has fired me up."

Sounds up for it doesn't he?

A bit late I know, but today's Do You Remember? star is Paul Cooper, who played for both Town and Birmingham City. To give your views on Coop's long Town career click the link on the top of the Message Board: http://www.twtd.co.uk/messages
