Concerned at half time that this was going to be a repeat of the Charlton game. Very predictable slow progress from the back to the front when Hurst was on the pitch. Long punt up field when no 6' plus striker. Tactics seem too predictable. Jack Clarke seems to be the man of the moment. Defence seemed more solid with Cedric Kipre in.

Controlled performance by Town and every player played a part in this narrow win. We can build on the win and climb the table. MOM Jack Clark for scoring. A priceless three points.

Much better performance against a good team. But more needs to be done. COYB!

That was all about the result. Kipre MOM for me - has to be one of our first choice centre backs now - and Azon needs to start ahead of Hirst, whose confidence is shot. And then to the Clarke conundrum - he and Philogene are the only two forwards who have any confidence in front of goal or look like hitting the target at the moment, but apparently we can't fit them both in the same team...

Papers over the cracks. Still big issues with this team. Over coached? Too predictable? No sense of urgency. O'Shea now playing the Woolfy role of slowing the game from the back. Only finally sparked when the 3 subs came on.

Really dont see what Hirst brings to the team anymore. Not sure what type of striker he is trying to be. Runs around pointlessly it seems, cannot hold up the ball, cant pass, cant shoot.

3 points needed to keep in touch, but still not a good performance. Lots of play with the ball around the back and compressing the area as we creep towards the opposition goal. need to put the ball through, not over for players to run onto and turn the defenders around facing their own goal.

No threat until subs came on Nunez completely changed the mood of the match with great industry and determination.

We dont have any strikers that can score! So far only Jaden and Clarke have shown how so time so time for U21 to be given a chance

The referee was truly awful and seemed to have no idea of what constituted a foul

How did Davis get MOM on Sky? Some improvements, O’Shea looks better when he’s alongside Kipre instead of Greaves. Who wouldn’t. Furlong also provides solidity even though he never really catches the eye. Well played Jack Taylor, but Hirst what has happened? Maybe stop concentrating on sh?T haircuts and knuckle down

It was a struggle against a team sitting deep again for which we dont appear to have a solution at the moment. Its all very nice having brilliant technical players but some times in this tough division the sledgehammer needs to come out to be effective. We will be magic in the Premier league only we need to get there. All the other teams seem to use a battering ram up front so it doesnt matter how the ball goes in.
