![]() Sunday, 27th Aug 2006 22:30 Town's U18s defeated Wolves 3-1 at Playford Road on Saturday morning. The Blues' goals were scored by Tommy Smith, Liam Trotter and Darryl Knights. Young New Zealander Tommy Smith, a centre-half, was Town's outstanding player in a game watched by chairman David Sheepshanks. Substitute Liam Barrett was knocked unconscious in the closing stages after colliding with the Wolves keeper, but came to in the dressing room after the game. Meanwhile, Town's U16 side lost 4-0 to the same opposition. U18s: Plummer, Moore, Fenn, Smith, Robinson, Trotter, Reason, Upson (Barrett (C Williams)), Nimmo, Boto (Knights). Unused: Pope, J Ainsley.
