Two Town old boys were on target at the weekend for their new clubs. Mickey Stockwell hit his 50th career goal for Colchester while David Johnson opened his account for Nottingham Forest with a late goal against Grimsby.

Stockwell's goal is described by Daniel Whymark from www.ColUonline.com: "His goal was a beauty, he picked the ball up just outside of the penalty area, had time to pick where he wanted to place it, and then curled the ball into the top right corner of the goal... Beckham style!"

Sounds fantastic! Daniel continued: "He's now scored 6 so far this season and is the only U's player to start every game."

I reckon there's another decade in him yet! What a man!

The reference to 'Leeds' in the match report should obviously read 'Everton'. Got confused.
