![]() Monday, 19th Mar 2007 14:40 Town's reserves will take on Leiston at Portman Road in the final of the Club Colours Suffolk Premier Cup on Tuesday, 17th April (KO 7.30pm). Leiston, managed by former Blue Jason Dozzell, beat Newmarket Town 3-1 in their semi-final last week. Tickets will only be available via Cobbold Stand turnstiles on the night of the game. In addition to manager Dozzell, Leiston have former Town academy players Gerard Nash, Liam Manning, Blair Hammond and Stuart Boardley in their ranks. Town's second string are expected to do a double of the Premier Cup and the Pontin's Holidays Combination League East Division title this season. They are currently top by nine points with a game in hand on Colchester in second and take on the U's at Layer Road on Tuesday afternoon (KO 2pm). Also being staged at Portman Road in the next few weeks are the Suffolk Senior Cup final between Grundisburgh and Stowmarket Town on Tuesday, 27th March and the Suffolk Junior Cup final on Thursday, 19th April.
