Smith Wins Fourth Cap Saturday, 24th Mar 2007 09:43 Academy central defender Tommy Smith won his fourth England U17 cap in yesterday's 5-0 defeat of Bosnia in their first European Championship elite qualifying round game. The Bosnians are hosting the Group Three matches over the course of the next week. Smith, who is expected to make his Town first team debut before the end of the season, played the full 90 minutes as England started their campaign in dominant fashion. Next they face Azerbaijan on Sunday and Serbia on Wednesday. In international action today are Jaime Peters and Chris Casement. Peters is with the Canada U20s facing Scotland in the first of two friendlies at a changed venue. The original ground, the Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, has a waterlogged pitch, so the match will now be played at the Coquitlam Town Centre Stadium in Coquitlam. Casement, who joined Millwall on a month's loan on Thursday, is with the Northern Irish U21s who play a friendly in Romania.
