U18s Defeat Hornets

Jordan Rhodes scored the only goal as Town's U18s defeated Watford 1-0 at the UCL Training Ground at London Colney on Saturday morning. Rhodes struck just after the hour mark.

Meanwhile, the U16s were also defeating the Hornets 1-0, Luke Hyam netting the goal. Republic of Ireland U16 international Paul Murphy was back in the U16 side ahead of the start of his academy scholarship in the summer.

In goal for the U16s was former Arsenal academy keeper Lewis Ward, who we understand has been offered a full-time scholarship.

U18s: Plummer, Clemo, Fenn, Smith (Webster 46), Robinson, Williams (Leabon 32), Reason, Nimmo, Tooms, Ainsley (Boto 84), Rhodes.
