![]() Tuesday, 15th May 2007 12:40 Town target Richard Wright says he is desperate to get back to playing regularly after being released by Everton. Wright is set to rejoin the Blues on a free transfer, despite reported interest from Rangers and Southampton. The 29-year-old has been told he may be offered a longer stay at Goodison Park if manager David Moyes fails to land another keeper, but the former England international sees his future elsewhere: “We had a chat but the one thing I want to be doing is playing regular football. I've had five good years at Everton and it has been a honour and privilege to play here. “Things might not have worked out quite how I wanted them to, what with picking an injury up and one thing or another, but it was still a terrific experience. I have some fond memories.” Get the fastest and most comprehensive Ipswich Town news service at ipswichtown.footballlatest.co.uk.
