![]() Tuesday, 22nd May 2007 09:54 Town boss Jim Magilton has moved quickly to clarify his position regarding the vacant Northern Ireland coach's job. Magilton appeared to hint that he wanted to replace Lawrie Sanchez part-time yesterday, however, he has now reiterated that he is not interested at this stage of his career. Magilton said: “As I said before, I am nowhere near ready to take the Northern Ireland job, whether it is full-time or part-time. I am fully focused on my job at Portman Road.” The Town manager had initially completely ruled himself out of the running prior to yesterday's suggestions that he might fancy the job part-time.
