Jim: Replicate Home Form
Jim: Replicate Home Form

Boss Jim Magilton says his side need to start to replicate their home form when away from Portman Road. So far, the Blues have won both their home games, but have registered only a point on their travels and were also dumped out of the Carling Cup at the MK Dons.

Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "I have asked the lads to be quick out of the blocks at home and they have responded fantastically well to that.

"We have got a foothold in the game and never let go, but it's not been the same on our travels and we have to put that right.

"Both Watford and West Brom made it difficult for us and we were playing catch up from early on. They deserve credit for that, but we have to put that right.

"We've had chances in games away but, if we don't score, we tend to lose a bit of belief and the opposition senses that and capitalises on it.

"Our second half performances have been better, especially at West Brom where we controlled possession for long periods against a very good side, but we need to start games like that, not come out at half-time."
