![]() Friday, 9th Nov 2007 10:28 Central defender Richard Naylor has been hit by a new injury blow. The 30-year-old will be out of action for a month after slipping a disc in his neck. Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "He had a sore neck and Richard being Richard shrugged it off and played for the reserves against Norwich a couple of weeks ago. "Then he got a nudge in training and then another one, and the discomfort got worse. "He had a bulge in his neck so we sent him for a scan and they found he had a slipped disc in his neck and he needs to rest for a month. "He is going up the wall as you would expect. It's bad news for him because he has recovered from injury and was pushing hard for a place in the team." Naylor was closing in on a return to first team action after undergoing toe surgery in the summer.
