George Burley has conceded that there will be no new faces arriving at Portman Road before tomorrow's transfer deadline. Town have no bids in and Burley seems happy with his existing squad.

The Town manager said: "I doubt if anything will happen in the next couple of days. We have no concrete offers in for anyone and with just two days to go I can't see anything happening."

Burley also commented on Wayne Brown's loan spell at QPR, a move is not likely to become a permanent one: "Wayne has progressed very well but he needs first team football which he is not getting here at the moment."

Brown said of his period at Loftus Road: "I have had a chat with the manager and he has assured me that I will get my chance and I'm happy with that."
