![]() Monday, 10th Dec 2007 00:37 Legendary former Town boss Sir Bobby Robson received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony on Sunday evening. Robson, who received a lengthy ovation from the audience, was flanked by Jim Magilton, David Sheepshanks, Mick Mills, Roger Osborne, George Burley, Russell Osman, Allan Hunter, Terry Butcher and members of his England side as he received the award from Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. The 74-year-old ex-Town manager can be seen receiving the much-deserved gong here. Boxer Joe Calzaghe, who once successfully defended his WBO Super Middleweight title against Bury St Edmunds-based Town fan David Starie, was named 2007's Sports Personality of the Year ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Ricky Hatton.
