![]() Saturday, 19th Jan 2008 13:58 Chairman David Sheepshanks has denied reports in the North-West yesterday which claimed that the Blues had agreed a fee of £900,000 with Burnley for striker Alan Lee. The Irish international has also said he wants to remain with Town. Sheepshanks said: “We haven't had a bid from Burnley and one has certainly not been accepted. There is a lot going on but Alan Lee is still our player.” Lee is understood to be very happy living on the Suffolk-Essex border and says he knows nothing about a possible move to his former club: “I have not heard anything and I want to stay with Ipswich.” The £100,000 January 2006 recruit from Cardiff City signed a new contract in the summer which runs to the summer of 2009.
