![]() Monday, 2nd Apr 2001 00:13 Town are now completely safe from relegation since Manchester City's somewhat comical defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend. With City and Coventry on 27 points after 31 games neither can get to the 49 points that Town are currently on and therefore we can definitely look at another season of Premiership football. Hurrah! Pundits all across the country are spending today eating humble pie. Tastes OK doesn't it Rodney? Mick Stockwell has continued his excellent first season at Colchester by becoming the Essex side's leading scorer. The former Town stalwart has now scored nine goals this season and is well on to become their top scorer for the season. It seems his striking prowess as seen against Leicester and Wimbledon in the early nineties is still there! Several Premiership clubs are said to be interested.
