Nuremberg are not expecting any immediate transfer developments involving striker Angelos Charisteas, according to reports in this afternoon's German papers. Town target Charisteas is due back with his current club ahead of their pre-season trip to Austria next Wednesday.

The Greek frontman, who was given an extended summer break after Euro 2008, will leave relegated Nuremberg over the summer, but the club are not expecting anything to happen prior to the Austrian visit.

German papers continue to report that Charisteas has ruled out a move to Town, while there is nothing on this morning's UK press claim that a fee has been agreed between the clubs.

Sources in Greece and Germany generally expect Charisteas to move to another German club over the summer.
