Despite the Blues still looking for new players ahead of Monday's transfer window closure, the tabloids are conspicuously thin on Town transfer links this morning. Jon Walters is again mentioned in connection with Stoke, but there is nothing on potential new Town signings.

Long-time target David Nugent is linked with a £4 million move to West Brom, while Nottingham Forest are said to have won the race to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson, who was linked with the Blues earlier in the week.
