Billy Clarke failed to add to his goals for Darlington as they Quakers lost 3-1 at Bournemouth. Clarke and Liam Trotter were the only on-loan Town players in action on Saturday afternoon.

Trotter made his second appearance for Grimsby as the Mariners lost 1-0 at home to Barnet.

On Friday evening, full-back Dan Harding impressed as Southend comfortably beat Leyton Orient 3-0 at Roots Hall.

Chris Casement was left out of the Hamilton Academical 16 as they lost 4-1 to Falkirk on Saturday, while Ed Upson was similarly omitted as his Stevenage side beat Fabian Wilnis's Grays 2-1 on Thursday evening, the Dutchman limping off in the first half with a torn groin muscle.

Jordan Rhodes's Rochdale are in action against Accrington on Sunday.
