![]() Wednesday, 12th Nov 2008 08:15 Midfielder David Norris will make a face-to-face apology to Phil and Amanda Peak, the couple whose sons were killed in the road crash which led to former Plymouth keeper Like McCormick going to jail, for his goal celebration during Saturday's victory at Blackpool. Norris has already apologised in writing for making what appeared to be a ‘handcuffs' gesture as a private message to close friend and former team-mate McCormick, but the Peaks want the midfielder to say sorry in person. Earlier in the week, the 26-year-old was fined two weeks wages by the Blues – a figure reportedly in the region of £25,000 – which will be donated to a charity set up by the Peaks and Brake, a road safety organisation. Norris has also been written to by the FA, who have given him seven days to explain his actions.
