Wilson Link Resurfaces
Wilson Link Resurfaces

The link with Manchester United's Mark Wilson is again being reported. The story stemmed from George Burley watching the midfielder in a reserve game against Bradford in January. Subsequently rumours suggested that Wilson was the £2 million Premiership player that the club said they had a bid tabled for.

George Burley denied this, although he admitted that he had watched the player. Manchester United seemed keen to keep the player, although Sunderland are reported to have tried to sign him for £3 million on deadline day. This deal fell through and Town are now rumoured to be favourites, although from what we can gather Town's interest may have been overplayed by the media.

Today's Do You Remember? is former Town full-back John Kennedy. Kennedy was named Man of the Match in yesterday's FA Trophy final as his Canvey Island side beat Forest Green Rovers 1-0. What do you remember of his games for Town? Click the link on the Message Board: http://www.twtd.co.uk/messages
