Town midfielder Liam Trotter made his first appearance for loan club Scunthorpe as an 86th minute sub in last night's 2-0 defeat at Southend. Trotter joined the Iron for a month on Monday.

Elsewhere, Billy Clarke was an unused sub for Northampton as the Cobblers drew 1-1 with Brighton at the Withdean Stadium, while Kurt Robinson played the whole game for Rushden and Diamonds as they beat York 2-0.

Jai Reason also played a full 90 minutes as Cambridge won 1-0 at Grays, who named former Blue Fabian Wilnis amongst their substitutes.

Chris Casement played for 62 minutes of Wycombe's 0-0 draw with Rotherham on Monday.

Dan Harding's Reading and Jordan Rhodes's Brentford are not in midweek action. Harding, who is yet to play a first team game for the Royals, is in their reserve team playing Aldershot this afternoon.

Jaime Peters returned to the Blues at the end of his month on loan at Gillingham after the weekend.
