Full-back David Wright will miss this evening's friendly at home to Real Valladolid (KO 7.30pm) with the rib injury he sustained against Charlton on Wednesday.

The former Wigan man's absence is likely to see either Alex Bruce or Jaime Peters employed at right-back.

Kevin Lisbie and Alan Quinn are doubts with their groin problems, but Damien Delaney and Shane Supple are over similar injuries. Pablo Couñago, who also has a groin problem, and Ben Thatcher, still recovering from last season's knee injury, are unlikely to be involved.

New signing Lee Martin will be reunited with Angolan international striker Manucho who like the Town wideman recently left Manchester United, signing for Valladolid, who finished 15th in La Liga last season.
