Bruce Makes Full Leicester Debut But Picks Up a Knock

Central defender Alex Bruce finally made his full debut for Leicester as the Foxes beat Cardiff 1-0 at the Walkers Stadium, but was replaced in the 35th minute having picked up an injury. The central defender is on a loan at Leicester until the end of the season.

Bruce, who can’t be recalled from his half-season spell, had previously played only a minute for his loan club after joining them close to the end of the January transfer window.

Elsewhere, Ed Upson was an unused sub for Barnet, who he joined for a month on Friday, as the Bees lost 2-1 at home to Accrington Stanley.

Liam Trotter was in the Millwall side which thrashed Charlton 4-0 at the Den, while Jon Stead was in the Coventry team which drew 1-1 at home to Plymouth but failed to score.

Tamás Priskin played the full 90 minutes as QPR drew 1-1 at Sheffield United, but was also unable to get on the scoresheet.

Tommy Smith played the whole game as Brentford drew 3-3 at home to the MK Dons and Kevin Lisbie also completed an entire 90 minutes as Colchester lost 2-1 to ten-man Carlisle at Brunton Park.

In Scotland, Colin Healy played the full game as Falkirk lost 2-1 at home to St Johnstone, former Town U18s skipper Liam Craig scoring from the penalty spot for the Saints.

He is a player that will always give 100% but he doesn't have great deal qaulity for me. He always seems to make costly mistakes.

cant believe everyones bad mouthing bruce! We all loved him a year ago, i still do i dont see whats wrong with him as a player, clearly loves the club and the fans, although maybe not keane i fear :/ selling him would be ridiculous, even loaning him was stupid, along with stead, now that delaney may be out for 3 games, who would u rather have, Pim or bruce? Thats what i thought, rant over.

Chambers Id rather have Smith! But I know what you mean I like BBBBBRRRRRRUUUUUUCCCCCCEEEEEE! I doubt Bruce has a problem with Keano, afterall him and his dad are former team mates. I think Keano is being honest with Bruce and at least he's at a loan club where he could feature in the side. Here he is third string right back and third string centre back. I think it would be more harsh on the lad if Keano were to keep him here when we have a settled back four and no matter how hard he fights in training never got a look in. Keano knows what he's doing.
