Foley Could Still Make US Move
Foley Could Still Make US Move

Former Town coach Steve Foley has confirmed that he has opted against taking a coaching job US side the Tampa Bay Rowdies, as reported by TWTD on Tuesday. However, Foley says the switch could still happen but that he is currently looking for a new job in the UK.

Foley said: “It was not quite as I agreed when I was over in the States. The ball is back in their court, and I need more information before I travel halfway around the world to work.

“[Rowdies head coach] Paul [Dalglish] has been regularly on the telephone and is keen for me to go over, and it might still happen. But if it doesn’t I have no other irons in the fire at the moment.”

Meanwhile, Town’s reserves, who will be run by Chris Kiwomya this season, Foley having been in charge last year, will play some of their end-of-season games at Ipswich Wanderers’ Humber Doucy Lane ground. Groundsman Alan Ferguson has been working on the pitch and the floodlights are also set for improvements.

generalpublic - Evey American I have met does not match that description. As a country it is a bit of a $hit, but most of the people are ok.

GeneralPublic: Have you ever left your village? Or watched the world news? Before you go insulting me being an American, I am English and choose to live in Tampa, because of the people here are far easier to get on with on a daily bases, and IMO the percentage of arrogant people in USA is below that of the UK.
As for a greedy country, it is a British greedy company BP who has currently filled the Gulf of Mexico with crude oil, which is polluting not just the ocean, but killing off all the creatures and putting so many thousand out of a job. Which has left the USA having to clean up the mess. If it is not cleaned up, it will hit the UK coast to, coming up on the gulf stream.
Before you go shooting off your big mouth, about something that is not sports related on a sports website GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!

English people tend to be more arrogant and, as a place, the USA is such a better place to live. I wish I could spend more time over there than I currently do (only a couple of weeks every year), as it is such a great place. True, more famous Americans do give of the impression, which has become the generalisation that all Americans are stupid and ignorant, which is simply not the case.
