Scunthorpe Kids for a Quid
Scunthorpe Kids for a Quid
Wednesday, 15th Sep 2010 16:57

Scunthorpe are running a Kids for a Quid scheme when the Blues visit Glanford Park on Saturday 25th September. Football League rules state that such offers should also apply to away supporters.

The managerless Iron currently sit in 10th in the table. Full details on the club site.

Meanwhile, on-loan defender Darren O’Dea has been photographed in one of Scotland’s tabloids “snogging” with former Bhoys team-mate Chris Killen.

The pair are reported to be known for their pranks with O’Dea, who lives with girlfriend Melissa Cheung, laughing off the incident: "It was Killen wanting a goodnight kiss!"

Seems like an opportunist tabloid snap, if it isn't then so what? Only problem is the tabloids.

Entrance to my garden is only two quid too !!! Come on over, pay your cash and watch us get stuffed from the comfort of my garden shed. I will put last years end of season video on and it won't be as far for you all to travel.

Speaking of which, does anybody want to buy said video? It has exclusive behind the scenes footage of Keano hammering nails into pieces of wood. Tony is on there too trying to tie his own shoelaces in the outakes section. No reasonable offers refused !!!!

Why don't Ipswich so this. It's bad enough a u16 having to pay £12 a game when we win let alone to see a display like last nights. We might
fill our stadium a bit more if we done this ocasionally as well as the offer for the Cardiff game

Yeah but only for under 10s when purchased with a adult season ticket tractor Roy.

I'm talking about 14 15 year olds that aren't old enough to get jobs especially jobs that allow them to pay put £12 every fortnight but who's parents can afford to pay for thier kids to go to the games so often.

£10 season tickets are for the under 11's. I bought two so my daughter could take a different friend to each game. Notbad at 43p a game ! All under 16's should be this price, especially with 10,000 empty seats each week- the club would make a fortune because of the extortionate price of food and drink , shirts etc' but thats another story !
