David Sheepshanks has said the club will do as much as possible to help fans get to Moscow for the UEFA Cup game. Sheepshanks appears less than pleased with a trip to Moscow in the first round.

The Town chairman said: "It's great to be back in Europe after 20 years, but the draw is a bit of a disappointment. I feel particularly for our supporters. It's a difficult journey for them and an expensive one but all I can say is that the club will do as much as they can to help the fans get there. Some of them have been saving for months and have forgone their summer holidays to travel with us in Europe. So it's not much of a reward to go away to Moscow."

George Burley has commented on yesterday's defeat at the hands of Charlton. As with the majority of home games lost during the Burley era Town enjoyed most of the play but were caught on the break.

Burley said: "All credit to the way they got behind the ball but I think they would have been pleased with a draw. It was a match where we dominated for large parts but Charlton defended well. To be honest it was a great volley, a fantastic goal, but it was poor defending by ourselves and we are frustrated because when you have so much play and possession you expect to get something - but that's football. It just shows that when you are on top of teams you need a goal but we just couldn't get it."
