Scotland Keen to Stay and Keep Playing Saturday, 17th Dec 2011 09:47 Striker Jason Scotland has repeated his desire to remain at Portman Road beyond the end of his contract in the summer and says he expects to be in English football for a few years yet - despite the onset of the British winter. The 32-year-old admits he misses his family back home in Trinidad but wants to stay with the Blues and continue playing for a few seasons to come: “My mother and other relations watched the Barnsley game and of course I miss them. But I have been away now for 10 years, pursuing my footballer career. “I intend to keep playing for as long as I can. I still enjoy it, which is the main thing. Even with another British winter I keep trying to play with a smile on my face. “When I stop enjoying it, that is when I will stop. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t like what I was doing and I want to keep doing it for a while yet.”
