Pompey Keeper Henderson: I'm Not Moving
Pompey Keeper Henderson: I'm Not Moving
Tuesday, 31st Jan 2012 16:59

Portsmouth keeper Stephen Henderson has tweeted that he is not going to leave Pompey. The Irish U21 international is one of the three Pompey players the Blues are looking to sign before this evening's 11pm deadline.

The former Bristol City man tweeted: "Putting this to bed now! I'm not going anywhere, I'm very happy at Portsmouth and look forward to Hull Saturday!"

Town are still continuing to talk to Pompey but with central defender Jason Pearce and midfielder or defender Joel Ward now appearing the only possible signings.

We should have cast a much wider net than relying on 3 signings from one club when they had no chance of replacing them, i dont think we get anyone in,.

These players seem to really love Portsmouth.

Funny really considering their precarious position and the ground being a bit of a sh@thole.

Goalkeeper isn't priority, so it could be potentially worse.

Keeper not a priority? I think it is, in a few months time when that reading 3rd choice goes back and wright goes to yankeeland we'll only have 1 with 1st team exp on the books (ALB)

Why are we still persisting in negotiating with Portsmouth? Maybe there is still deals to be done? See how matey-boy the Goalie here tweets when he doesn't get paid.

well if pompey dont sell any of their players by 11 pm then they will go out of business by the 20th February, as they cant sell any players after the window shuts, i still think they think they will get a buyer before the 20th Feb, but with no money and the bank account frozen, they will bring on their own downfall, and i for one will have no sympathy for PFC they have cut their own throats here, and when they do go out of business, and lose all their players for free, lets see how many true players follow them

So he'd have only come here if he was forced to then?? So why the hell have we been pinning our hopes on this guy? Did nobody think about asking the guy if he wanted to come here last week? Then we could have just moved on...joke, utter joke!

Dont see that a keeper is a urgency . 3 defenders would be nice . If we are goin after a keeper would like to see a bid made for Loach or Camp , more expierence than Henderson .
