having watched back the highlights I hadn't realised last night how many of the goals Celina was involved in! I thought he was better last night and has started to look much sharper, but didn't realise quite how influential he was! I also love his clear love of the Town fans..... Was on the fence about him, wasn't sure what his attitude would be like dropping into league 1, but actually think he will be immense for us.
Was anyone else just a little concerned that Cook said after the game Saturday the Morsy would help with the current issues we are having. Now i don't disagree I think he is exactly what we need BUT...
1. We came very close to not signing him - what would Cook have been saying was the answer then?
2. Is he going to stay fit/not get red carded for the rest of the season and if not what happens then? We don't have another player to replace him.
A fellow fan has suggested I post this link. My daughter and I are doing the Great East run on Sunday - I’m not much of a runner 10k is a nice distance for me so been a challenge. Add to that tow Achilles injuries and my daughters bad toe it’s been “fun”. Read our story here and if you care to support us that would be awesome https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Lisa-Lucy-ford?utm_campaign=lc_frp_share_
We finished in 2.04 my dad would have been so proud! The last 2 km felt like 10 miles it hurt so much!!! Thank you to all we have made 580 for cancer research!!!
ok so I am hoping to go to MK dons away and wondered... 1. if anyone is driving from Ipswich and has spare capacity for two (and we will pay petrol) 2. where is the best place to park if I end up driving? is it worth pre booking a car park?
Now I may be shot down for this BUT when he first joined many were delighted and thought he was what we were looking for.. however for some reason it just has not worked he has looked out of place, short on confidence and clueless.. you don’t become a bad player over night I think personally the total lack of direction, not knowing who the team was going to be and a lack of real man management has meant a few players have totally underperformed (Bart hasn’t become an awful keeper over night he has just lost total confidence) I think Nolan with some good direction and man managment could surprise a few of us this season... Donancian despite being totally messed about has looked decent - imagine how good he could be in a settled team? I maybe clutching at straws but I see a tiny glimmer of hope... sadly a few other players have not underperformed they are just out of their league (literally)
The above link is an article my son wrote for Ipswich 24 magazine. He is 18 now and at uni but from the age of 8 - 15 he was Tractor Boy on Radio Suffolk and got to know the Beat as a friend. I certainly cried when I read it xxx
