Saturday, 7th Apr 2012 14:11

Town boss Paul Jewell has named the expected unchanged side for today’s visit to his old club Derby County.

The Rams make one change from the side which drew 1-1 at Bristol City last week with Jamie Ward surprisingly back from a thigh injury with Steven Davies out due to illness. Full match preview here.

Derby: Fielding, Naylor, Buxton, Shackell, Roberts, Green, Bryson, Hendrick, B Davies, Ward, Robinson. Subs: Severn, Bailey, Tyson, Carroll, Bennett.

Town: Lee-Barrett, Edwards, Smith, Delaney, Cresswell, Leadbitter, Drury, Emmanuel-Thomas, Martin, Murphy, Chopra. Subs: Wright, Sonko, Bowyer, Stevenson, Scotland.

Not a bad team - not surprised we are unchanged. Still don't see the point of Lee Bowyer on the bench - surely we won't allow him to make the necessary number of appearances to trigger a new contract? Would have liked to have seen either Carson or Hyam in his place.

Come on Town - need a strong end to a disappointing season.

WHY? Bowyer, give Hyam or Carson a place on the bench. 1-3 to Town, JET, Murphy and Chopra.

Glad we've kept the same team again. Bowyer has done well when coming on previously so deserves a place on the bench you can't blame the manager for trying to win all remaining games

COYB. hope we dont put Martin on the wing with Murphy up top again though, Murphy is too good at getting back to defend and Martin's work rate is second to none behind Chopra!

Langdon Blue as much as i like your lyrics it would be hard for cardiff and middlesbrough to lose today as they're playing each other! Wish we'd give Hyam or Carson a place on the bench instead of Bowyer but never mind hope we get 3 points!
