If Joel Ward is in two minds and has been on this site for a quick look for fan's view on him (not impossible, stranger things have happened) I would have thought some of the comments would have put him right off! Especially the ones along the lines of 'not sure if we would take to him or we do not want him now he has taken so long to make his mind up' - some of our 'fans' need to grow up! Or are some of these posts by people who spend a lot of time on computers and are Ipswich 'fans' but hardly ever,if at all, go to a game. What I would love to see beside each poster's name is their age and their years racked up / suffered as an ITFC supporter and/or season ticket holder. Maybe then we could forgive some of the more stupid posts if, for example, we could see they were posted by a seven year old who may not know better, and may be just copying some of he other whinger's on the site. When all of us fans start supporting the club as vocally as possible, especially through every minute the team are on the pitch, and supporting each and every player then maybe, just maybe, we may start a journey that will end in the promotion we feel that we 'deserve' Let's face facts our vocal support for THE TEAM at home last season was 'mid table' at best - funnily enough about where we finished! Let's hope Joel Ward asks Chuck Norris for advice on TWTD and he does not tell Joel about the boing off at half time and the like!

Apologies - meant to say 'ask Norris for advice on ITFC' not TWTD!

He won't come here anyway we have absolutely no ambition or drive as a club. Should of got Warnock in before Leeds snapped him up!

Phil Can you avoid reporting on Ward's transfer discussions until he actually signs for someone, all very boring.

walberswick added 14:02 - May 18 “I'm speaking to agents every day and I'm pushing to get deals over the line. It's a long summer but it's so important to keep things moving.” N.Warnock And how do you know that PJ is not doing this? You don't, simple as that. And before you say "he's on holiday", I refer you to my previous comment about mobile phones. The beauty of them is that you can use them when you are not at your usual place of work.

Because I saw him coming out of Lidl in Bradford on Thursday. Looked like he had got a lot of stuff for a barbecue. Mind on other things.

@Walberswick What's the issue with PJ having a holiday?? Lord knows he needs to take a step back, re-evaluate and then come back fresh. Carrying on blindly will not do him, his team or OUR club any good at all! Seems to me you could do with a holiday yourself and give us all a break from you're "I need to whine first" attitude
walberswick added 18:28 - May 18
@Fred_Blue You're right, I need a holiday. Will take a break. Won't post again till after we sign someone.

I wonder how many more months he can be kept from making a decision, anybody would thought he is a really top class player...meanwhile I'll go back to sleep!

There are courses and workshops available that get across the benefits of POSITIVE THINKING - seems like some of you guys (and gals?) would benefit - we CAN get promoted next season - clearly we need to sort the defence out and Jewell is trying to do that
ericgates added 06:37 - May 19
Time to move now, this has dragged on too long. It seems this player doesn't want to play for town and portsmouth are a bit too difficult to deal with at the moment, understandably.
ericgates added 07:06 - May 19
Tom Heaton relesed by Cardiff. A good signed possibly? I see Joe Lewis has joined cardiff as back up to David Marshall. We should build from the back and get our defence in order and start with a new keeper as soon as possible. I know the season has only finished 3 weeks ago,but a lot of clubs are doing a lot of business and we are falling behind already, also with our very small squad at the moment we are a a disadvantage. Come on Town!!! its demoralising looking on here every few minutes and seeing no new stories or just a different spin on the joel ward transfer saga!

I really hope these paynter rumours aren't true. After checking the stats he's scored 6 goals in 68 championship apps! 250k could be spent much more wisely. It would be typical though that Leeds seem to be signing our targets and we sign one of their cast offs.
Steve_ITFC_Sweden added 09:32 - May 19
Who do I want to win at Wembley today? Blackpool, of course! Firstly, I don't wish our old play-off rivals Wet Sham any favours, and secondly, whatever the result, Ward won't be coming to PR. End of!
