I wish he had stayed English so he'd never get called up. Although I do enjoy a jokey chant type thing at the back of the lower north. "Tommy smith, WORLLDDD CUPPP PLAYEEEEEEEEER"

Smith's international career has been a big plus for him with the World Cup and the Olympics. I fear the pendulum could swing now though, and it could hold him back from his club career. We want him focussing on his ITFC matches and his partnership with Chambers, not jetting to the far side of the planet on a regular basis. I hope for him that it doesn't cost him his place in the Town side.

Hopefully Jewell will keep Delaney for cover at least but i feel we do need another CB, and i'd quite fancy Wilson because he knows Chambers, so Wilson would be able to settle in quicker. Big first game Saturday, and please to the supports that moaned at Loach on Tuesday for slipping over once kicking the ball, calm down. The amount of moans, you would of thought he miss kicked the ball!!

New Zealand lost to New Caledonia in the Oceania Cup semis this year; Tahiti won the final. maybe not such an easy 12 points...

Why do people say we need another CB? We need TWO !! Delaney will probably be moving on, and is a weak back up in my view anyway. Tommy Smith whilst its nice for him to be globe trotting for NZ, its Town that pays his wages and we can't afford for him to be going off for weeks at atime- the squad simply isn't big enough to cover for him.

New damn Zealand , can't he retire from International football, who would've thought I'd be saying that re Smith, but without him we'd be down to the marrow... New Zealand out!!

comments are so funny...really shows how selfish we are can be...good luck to Smith and advancing his career and interntional level, but alas all the supporters are worried about are town and not the individual. We don't even now at this point if 1 or maybe both are designated international weeks and we won't have a game that is impacted.
