Town Confirm Orr Loan Wednesday, 14th Nov 2012 09:58 Town have confirmed that Blackburn right-back Bradley Orr has joined on loan until January 26th. News of the 30-year-old's move to the Blues broke last night. Orr has been left on the bench since Henning Berg took over as manager at Ewood Park. He started his career with Newcastle, during which time he was linked with the Blues, spending a period on loan at Burnley while with the Magpies. In 2004 the 6ft-tall full-back joined Bristol City and he was to spend the next six years at Ashton Gate. In July 2010 he moved on to QPR where he helped Neil Warnock’s side to the Championship title. Having featured only fleetingly after their promotion to the Premier League, the Liverpudlian joined Blackburn in January 2012. Orr will be best remember by Town fans for being sent off in the Blues’ 6-0 victory over Bristol City in November 2007. A move for a right-back is no surprise with Blues manager Mick McCarthy having said he prefers to see skipper Carlos Edwards in midfield. Photo: ITFC
