No New Injuries Ahead of Wolves Trip
Friday, 28th Dec 2012 10:05

Blues boss Mick McCarthy has no new injuries ahead of his return to his old club Wolves on Saturday. The Town manager is weighing up whether to shuffle his pack with the holiday fixtures coming thick and fast.

McCarthy said: “I think everybody’s fine, touch wood. I’ll see how they all are today. They all went and had a recovery day at the pool and in the gym yesterday.

“Everybody reported in OK and I’ll see how they are. The players played very well on Boxing Day and they’re full of running, they’re all fit guys.”

Striker Paul Taylor is Town’s only long-term absentee due to a foot injury which required surgery which is expected to keep him out of action for the season.

Will be interesting to see if Taylor has a future at the club when fit or will he be moved on.
A year out of the game and will take 6 months to get match fit.

Taylor is currently the BEST player we have on our books in my opinion. He appeared a fit lad so hopefully we can get him fit and ready for the start of next season. He will be in MM plans you can count on that!
