N'Daw Charged Sunday, 17th Mar 2013 11:51 Town midfielder Guirane N’Daw has been charged with assault and will appear in court on Monday. The Senegalese international was arrested on Friday and missed Saturday’s home victory over Bolton Wanderers. A police statement reads: “A man has been charged with assault ABH following an incident at a property in Ipswich town centre on Friday afternoon, 15 March 2013. “Guirane N'Daw, who is 28 and of Neptune Square in Ipswich, was arrested at Ipswich Hospital on Friday evening after a woman had received treatment for bruising and minor injuries. “N'Daw was charged late last night and has been detained in police custody to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 18 March 2013.” Town released a statement after N'Daw's arrest: “We are aware that Guirane N’Daw was arrested [on Friday] after an alleged domestic incident. The club is liaising with the police and won’t be making any further comment at this time.”
