Histon Boss Impressed With October Friday, 3rd Jan 2014 10:45 Histon manager Brian Page says Blues left-back David October was “magnificent” during his spell with the Skrill North club. The 19-year-old, who was with the Stutes’ youth set-up before joining the Town academy, ended his loan with the Cambridgeshire club yesterday. “It’s a shame David has left but we wish him all the best,” Page told the Cambridge News. “He’s been magnificent for us and while he’s helped us, I’d like to think we’ve helped him as well.” Speaking earlier in the week, Town boss Mick McCarthy said he was happy for first-year pro October, who made 12 appearances for Histon without scoring, to remain out on loan: “Jack [Marriott] won’t be coming back and neither will Rocco if he wants to stay and play because he might as well.”
