Town have sold out of their initial allocation of 2,000 tickets for the Derby game, but as they did last season, the midlanders have given more tickets to the Blues.

The extra 1,000 seats are available by ringing the Derby ticket office on 01332 209999.

Despite the date of the game not yet being known, tickets for the Manchester City FA Cup tie are about to go on sale. A ballot has taken place while season ticket holders can claim their seats up until Thursday evening. From Friday to Monday Portman Plus holders will be entitled to any remaining seats and from the Tuesday any left will go on general sale.

Manchester City have been given 2,400 tickets for the game, the date of which will be known this evening after the Middlesbrough-Wimbledon game (see previous story).
