Monday, 30th Jun 2014 13:36

The Town squad were back at Playford Road this morning for the first day of pre-season proper and as usual the TWTD cameras were present.

Only David McGoldrick — who is continuing his rehab from his knee injury in the US — and Stephen Hunt, who is due at the club later in the week when he will sign his new one-year deal, were missing from the senior squad, who were joined by a number of youngsters but no trialists as fitness coach Andy Liddell started preparing them for the 2014/15 campaign.

Sindre94 added 15:41 - Jun 30 How long will Cressy and Tayls be at the club is the big question now. Taylors wages must put other clubs off, thats my guess.

DurhamTownFan added 16:10 - Jun 30 Shame not so see any exciting new signings here. Mick is right, that prem clubs won't let theirs go until late summer/early September. New adidas kit looks mint though: I'm gonna buy as much as possible to make up for lost time!
