![]() Friday, 15th Feb 2002 09:16 Ashley Nicholls has become the eighth Town player to go out on loan. Ipswich-born Nicholls has joined Ryman's League Canvey Island, initially for a month. Nicholls joined Town in the summer of 2000 from Ipswich Wanderers after having been released by the Blues as a youth. He has been involved with the reserves throughout the last couple of years, but has rarely looked to be getting near the first team. Nicholls joins a host of ex-Town men at Canvey including Adam Tanner, John Kennedy, Neil Gregory, coach Glenn Pennyfather and former youth player Adam Miller.
