Fans Around the World Meeting Up for Play-Off Derby
Fans Around the World Meeting Up for Play-Off Derby
Friday, 8th May 2015 05:54

While almost 30,000 fans will be at Portman Road to watch Saturday’s Championship play-off semi-final first leg derby with Norwich City, with the game live on TV in the UK and abroad, supporters across the country and around the globe will be meeting up in pubs and bars to cheer the Blues on to victory (Sky Sports 1, from midday, KO 12.15pm).

The Italian Branch of the Supporters Club will be at the Offside Sports Pub, via Losanna 46, Milan with anyone who happens to be in town welcome to join them.

As for previous TV games, the South-West Branch of the Supporters Club has two venues, the Volunteer Inn in Sidmouth, while Toto's is the place to be in Bristol city centre. For more details email Tony Stimson.

If you’re watching Saturday’s match at a pub or bar in some far-flung part of the nation or world, post it below. Please do not post links to illegal streams here or on the forum.

Not missed a game at PR all season, but off to Hungary tomorrow on holiday. Schoolboy error there. Anywhere on the Great Hungarian Plain showing it? Failing that, Debrecen the nearest settlement of any size. Anyone?

Buffalo, NY - I could make the trip up to Toronto to watch but that would mean a really early start and a long day. We have a super soccer pub in town but its really geared up for Prem games only. I'll be watching on my own at home and will be yelling at the telly. If we make the final I'm flying home.

Singapore - Muddy Murphy's is usually the best shout although I've not run into any other town fans since I've been here. Get on the Facebook page Ipswich town fan club - MYSG would be good to keep in touch with a few fellow fans

Cashleyt - there's at least 4 of us, and I suspect more. Just returned from murphys after my customary 2 pint lunch and have booked a table from 6 on sat, so more the merrier. Let's see if we can make double figures. Talking to the fit Spanish looking manager, think we may get the big screen....

Am I the only ITFC fan in the UAE? 9 years I've been here an I'm yet to meet another. If I knew how to put an upside down smiley face on here, now would be the time I would.

Paris. I'm a Swedish ITFC supporter that will watch the game at Bombardier Pub in Paris. I haven't had it confirmed yet but they are having Sky Sports and label themselves as a sport pub.

Any London based Blues meeting up in the Capital - ideally around the London Euston area? Stupidly agreed to go to the FA Vase Final at Wembley on Saturday so I've got a mad dash around the capital to try and see both games. Ipswich obviously take priority though!
