"Treating" my mrs to a weekend in Ipswich for the Pompey game. Staying Friday and sat nights. Haven't had a night out in the town for ages, apart from the marina area what are the best places for drinks and food?

I seem to remember there are a couple of people on here who know a fair bit about these. Me and the Mrs are planning on going to maybe one of these in mid september. Ideally looking for a non resorty place, nice bars and restaurants, decent beach. Any tips would be very much appreciated cheers

hoping to watch the England game in a pub on saturday, does anyone know whats happening re showing sport in pubs? usually its standing room only which obviously won't be the case this time. I imagine its down to each pub, but has anyone watched anything in a pub recently?

plumbing advice (non biological)

Installed a new washing machine the other day, which remarkably went almost to plan. In the midst of my labours I had to change the u bend under the sink. Bought a new one, fitted it, but its leaking. Quick google search seems to show it may just need to be re fitted to make sure it isnt over tightened or mis threaded, but could I be missing anything, need to be aware of anything (apart from my own incompetitence of course)?

Hi, I'm currently writing a novel, and could do with a bit of advice re the dark web (the old chestnut research...). If anyone here can help with a few questions, I'd be very grateful, and if they want, they'll get a credit and mention in the aknowledgements. Feel free to DM me, or reply to this.

What I could do with is:
Can you sum it up in a couple of sentences, that someone would use to describe it to a group of people who know very little about it?
How would people access it on their computers, do they need any special browsers or interfaces?
Am I right in thinking that you can’t search it, you have to be given an address, for example in a forum on there, and then you use that address to go to that site.

they are playing in kingston on tuesday. Fairly low key, doesnt seem to be as part of their forthcoming tour or anything. Only 11 quid as well.

Train Tickets

Just bought return train tickets, first class, from Kingston in SW London to Ipswich for the Sunderland game. Less than £40. Not bad I thought bearing in mind it is not that far in advance, and got the times I wanted.

Only went first class as it was a couple of quid more than normal class.
