Friday, 15th May 2015 12:23

Town have announced the ticketing details for the play-off final should they overcome Norwich City in Saturday’s semi-final second leg at Carrow Road and make it to Wembley.

The Blues would be given 38,888 seats on the east side of the stadium with tickets going on sale from 6pm on Saturday 16th May with the usual priority system in place. Full details on the club site.

Town or the Canaries will face the winners of the Middlesbrough-Brentford tie - which stands at 2-1 to Boro following the Griffin Park leg - in the final.

The club have issued a clarification regarding priority tickets.

Meanwhile, Town and Canaries fans tentatively planning to travel to the final by train look set to have find an alternative with a strike planned from 5pm on Monday 25th May.

Signallers, maintenance staff and station workers are all set to walk out for 24 hours due to a pay dispute.

Well, due to family/friends work circumstances I to am a lone season ticket holder and would be doing the Billy no mates trip to Wembley on my own !

After all, what kind of preferential treatment should I be entitled to as a long term season ticket and shareholder? Obviously bugger all !!!

Absolute farce of ticket allocation in my humble opinion, but hey we've got to get there first.

Strange thing is have spent 45 mins in queue for tkt office this morn to be told we can't do the same as semi as we would sell out of Tkts . Pointed out it was no prob in semi and we had 14000 less Tkts then so how would we sell out . Was told I would have to sit on my own or wait until general sale to sit with my daughter who I buy a tkt for most weeks . What finished me off was when he told me I was the first person not 100 % happy with there tkt scheme , he couldn't answer when I asked why I had to wait 45 mins to get through to office .

@itfcrocks

Well youve saved me the bother of ringing to ask the same thing.

What a shambolic system and as for 'selling out' the allocation is double our average attendance!!!

Just means your 'regular' casual fan (often younger family member ) will miss out.
An own goal here me thinks, surely there is a better way of doing this.

I would imagine at those prices, tickets will be easier to come by than they were last time we were there.

ChestnutSe : I already contacted the club about this - expect an update to the site they said... and actually their recent announcement confirms that we will be able to upgrade etc.

i emailed them last night as me my yougest daughter and mother are season ticket holders and my eldest has one for next year, i asked the question is the season ticket holder for next year included, eg fans who wasnt one this season but have pledged to the club and payed for next years ticket like my daughter be entiled to a garenteed ticket.

the reply was basicaly no, so like others i am now faced with buying 3 tickets then another on monday and as a family wont be sitting together or even on the same coach, although i can do that another way.

but i feel its a own goal because if the club isnt carefull we wont sell our allocation at all.

better of selling atleast 34k to season ticket and members with a plus 1, then leaves around 5k for genral sale on monday.

that way all family and friends can atleast have a chance to sit together ect.

hopefully the club will listen, at the end of the day first we have to beat norwich which wont be easy, but ITFC remember with out us you will be playing footy at witton uniteds ground so look after you loyal fans first then the general puplic

Link to the Football League site showing the seating plan for various ticket categories. It also confirms the kick-off time as 3pm, in case anyone was wondering:

Help!!! I consider myself fairly well educated, but come on does anyone really understand the ticket information (Wembley) if so make it user friendly so everybody can understand.

Thanks Bluju, that's one issue sorted. Just need the plus 1 bonus for season ticket holders and members. I don't understand how that cannot be accommodated given the number of season ticket holders and members AND why it's not being done as a reward for us Loyal customers. Otherwise, may several have pointed out, families and friends will be scattered around Wembley with tickets purchased on the Sat/ Sun and then others on the Monday in general melee. It's rubbish Marcus. How can the club be so stupid off the pitch.

Hope we get thru tomorrow and have something to vent about

Considering the Club is owned by someone who made many of his millions through ticketing and corporate hospitality, you would think something better than this shambles could have been announced.

All hypothetical at the moment but difficult to imagine a less fan friendly operation.
I note from the Budgies website that their season ticket holders guaranteed a
Wembley ticket until Wednesday and also that tickets would be available to buy at their club shop on Sunday morning in person
Modern technology can be a great advantage in many ways but part of the glamour of " going down Wembley Way" was to queue maybe for hours but good heartedly in all weathers to buy and collect in person that valuable ticket.
Oh yes and then to get down to the station for the " football special" but Network Rails announcement/ threat of a strike on Monday week is the latest " conspiracy" to hamper whoever wins that final spot....

The way I read it (and I could be wrong) is that you need to be in the priority list to be guaranteed a ticket. That ST holder can buy up to 8 tickets as long as the other people are registered on the site and have a fan number. So if you don't have a fan number for the people you want to buy extra tickets for then register them now, add them to your friends and family list and then buy their ticket with yours.
As I say I could be wrong but have read the official site tickets details several times. COYB

I expect forcing everybody to buy thru website is a cost saving measure;but as I have said before on here and at shareholders meeting, being unable to purchase tickets either by phone or personally is not customer friendly.
Ok if Mr Evans or his sidekicks are worried about the cost then why not add £2.50 to cover staff remuneration.
BTW talking of staff, you would have expected to have more on in Legends last week than less.Consequently people were having to wait up to 15 mins to be served

Kaiser blue unfortunately to get the priority 8 tickets they have to be season tkt holders as well so no good registering loads of people .
