Burley on Penalty
Burley on Penalty

Town manager George Burley says he felt that last night's penalty for Leeds' second goal was harsh. Burley is now looking ahead to next week's vital six-pointer at Blackburn Rovers.

Burley said: "I thought the penalty decision was harsh on us. The lad was never going to score and ran into Andy but sometimes when you come away to the big clubs these decisions can go against you.

"But we were made to pay for two mistakes and at this level, if you make mistakes you get punished for them.

"We matched Leeds in the first half and I was satisfied with our performance up until then in what were difficult conditions but we paid the price for errors after the break.

"Now we have a massive game at Blackburn next week, a real six pointer and we must make sure our preparations are right and go to Ewood Park and get a victory."
