Marcus Stewart says he was happy to get back on the scoresheet, but would have preferred a vital three points for Town. Stewart struck Town's only goal with a near post header in the second half.

The Blues' striker said: "It was good to get back on the scoresheet once again, but for me personally goals don't mean as much unless we are winning. But I guess if I can keep scoring, then we can win games and we can stay up.

"But it was the case again of going a goal behind and then trying to win. We are due to go a goal up, then I'm sure we can hold onto that lead and go on to win a game."

George Burley was pleased with his number one striker's goal: "Marcus Stewart scored a very good goal and we had five or six free-kicks just outside their area and their keeper made a couple of good saves.

"It was good to see him find the net and I thought he looked lively throughout the game.

"Their keeper made a good save from Marcus just before he scored and then he did well to lose his marker for the goal.

"It took him a while to get back to match fitness after what was a serious injury but I am sure his confidence will have taken a boost with that goal and I'm pleased for him."
