Loanee Wayne Brown says he's happy at Watford and enjoying his football. Hornets manager Gianluca Vialli says he's keen to make Brown's move permanent.

Brown, who scored Watford's first two goals at the weekend said: "I'm enjoying my football again here, which I wasn't at Ipswich, and I'd like to stay."

Town have said they aren't willing to sell the central defender at present, perhaps with one eye on a possible Nationwide League challenge next season.

Vialli says he is keen to sign Brown permanently: "It's not entirely in our hands but we would like to sign him."
