![]() Thursday, 21st Mar 2002 16:45 Former Town skipper Mick Mills has joined Crystal Palace as an overseas scout. Mills has previously worked with current Palace manager Trevor Francis at Birmingham City. Palace chairman Simon Jordan said of the appointment: "Mick Mills is doing a specific scouting and reporting project for us abroad. "Mick wants to get back in football. He's at a loose end. Our manager Trevor Francis knows him so we are using the expertise that Mick has in an area where we don't have representation."
