Hayes Added to England U17s Squad Saturday, 7th May 2016 17:31 Academy keeper Nick Hayes has been called into the England U17s squad at the European Championships in Azerbaijan, having been on standby. The 17-year-old will fly out to join up with fellow Blues Andre Dozzell and Ben Morris. Clacton-based Hayes, who has previously won three England U17s caps, was initially named on standby along with Morris, who was called up last weekend, and schoolboy midfielder Tristan Nydam. He replaces Millwall's Ryan Sandford, who has been forced to withdraw due to a fractured finger. Dozzell played the full 80 minutes and Morris came on as a sub as the English youngsters were beaten 2-1 by Sweden yesterday. They face current holders France on Monday, before they complete their group fixtures with a match against Denmark on Thursday.
