Barnet Trip in Pre-Season
Wednesday, 25th May 2016 14:21

Town will play League Two Barnet in a pre-season friendly at The Hive on Wednesday 13th July (KO 8pm).

The Blues previously took on the Bees at their new home in pre-season in the summer of 2013 when a first-half David McGoldrick goal saw Town to a 1-0 win.

You can find a list of the pre-season fixtures which have been announced so far here, which will be updated as more games are added.

Anyone else wondering why there hasn't been a conclusion of the Webster deal?
All very strange, as said before we don't usually voice our targets out.

Agreed blues1.

We struggled with all the Tuesday evening games without having to try to take time off work and travel during pre-season. A game I would have like to go to but won't be able to.

blueherts - see you there. Just up the road for me. Fingers crossed for a friendly with Watford. Oh and maybe we could squeeze Spurs and Arsenal in too...

Another gentle introduction to the season,or should be.Tougher opposition than Shelbourne;but should be easier than Charlton, although given the turmoil at the Valley perhaps not?

Just Colchester, Cambridge & Southend left to announce & it will be the usual preseason suspects! Perhaps Fortuna Düsseldorf as the home friendly?

Another testing game - nothing like a stiff pre season challenge......... !!!

Can we soon change the bed sheets, and play someone decent pre season.

Or will than mean too much of a change of habit for McCarthy ? - just like his style of play.

Nice ground, nice wee club and it was a challenge for us last time! I think it is great that we go to smaller clubs and bring along a few thousand fans so they can make a few quid and we can have a competitive kick about. Do agree with the Saturday comment mind!

Quite a nice work out for the squad.Nothing too hard and let's hope we don't get any injuries.Looking forward to a few new faces before the season starts. It's gone very quiet regarding the Webster deal.!!

You play local teams in pre season so the fans don't have to travel far? No ones goin to treck up to Manchester on a Tuesday night to watch 2 reserve teams and besides Premier league teams go and do tours of America, China, Australia ect
