Town Announce Squad Numbers
Tuesday, 26th Jul 2016 14:28

Vast majority of that squad is inexperienced youngsters. We desperately need some experienced, quality reinforcements.

There are 4 or 5 teams you would expect to be competing for promotion. Beyond that, there are perhaps another 8 to 10 teams whose supporters would expect their team to be aiming for the play-offs. So there are another 9 teams who would love to be in our shoes of finishing 6th/7th in the last two years instead of merely hoping for survival. You think our fans cam main; I live not far from Wolverhampton and you want to hear what their fans along with villa and Brum have been saying for the last few years. My brother supports Bolton so I'm not even allowed to mention football in his house. So it's not the end of the world guys and girls. Hoofball is ok if you have a big true centre forward like Murphy and a bit of pace around him like Bishop, Sears, Dozzell and the new winger when he arrives. My glass is 3/4 full. It could be worse. I could be watching Bolton with my brother. COYB

Vast majority would 90% ish. The squad has around 35% youngsters within it. A healthy amount I think.

It absolutely beggars belief that we keep Douglas(so he took up the further year option but we have paid players off before now!) and let Tabb go who always gave his best in the Town shirt! Douglas brings nothing to the table and paired with Skuse we have 2 cart horses playing people into trouble who in desperation have to hoof it away but then Doogies great isn't he Mick, but I recall you saying that about Tabb!!! I know who I would rather have in the shirt.

This could be the season we finally get out of the championship, unfortunately in the wrong direction.

This has to be the worst close I can remember . One signing , raised our hopes of much needed new faces , especially wingers , but since then - nothing .

It's great we have some good youngsters coming through ,but that doesn't address the need for wingers .

Come on ITFC give us something to be excited about for the new season

So then we are missing a no2. Don't worry chaps the standard of football we play is relevant to a no 2.

Genuinely would be happy to see our youngster playing more and developing a progressive attacking style this year even if it means not pushing for promotion. Want us to get back to home grown talent playing an attractive style ...... & yes I know I'll get hammered from some but I absolutely do mean it.
In other news ..... Bart not no. 1 ...... assume this is a choice thing from Bart ? If not ... well words fail ......
