Wednesday, 10th Apr 2002 14:08

Third choice Town keeper Keith Branagan will go into hospital next week to have an operation on his injured shoulder. The former Irish international has been out for some months after almost snapping a ligament in a training incident.

The keeper will have keyhole surgery and should be recovered within six weeks. He is will be OK to start pre-season training in the summer with the rest of the squad. His injury is descibed as similar to Alex Mathie's a few years back.
